David Dvořák completed the weight check before his second fight in UFC. The hardest part of the preparations came to an end on Friday morning local time. The end of the weight loss process had its share of complications but at the end, the scale showed the weight of 125,5 pounds.

Dvořák was aiming at the weight of 125 lbs ever since he touchdown in Las Vegas. By following a strict diet and training he managed to get to 132 lbs and the last few pounds were left for the drainage before the weighing.

The last few hundred grams wouldn’t go off, Dvořák struggled a bit but got there in the end, thanks to the one-pound tolerance. For his rival, Jordan Espinosa, the scale showed 126 pounds.

Both fighters now have time to refill the energy before the fight, which will take place in the night from Saturday to Sunday (CEST). The duel Espinosa vs. Dvořák will finish the opening fight card for UFC Fight Night: Covington vs. Woodley.
